BubbleStays.eu is an online peer-to-peer platform that connects verified EU institution and NATO trainees in Brussels who are looking to hand over or take over a rental room or apartment. The platform is operated as a private service and is accessible at bubblestays.eu.

BubbleStays.eu is not a rental agency, landlord, or party to any rental agreement. It acts solely as a marketplace that facilitates contact between users. All rental arrangements, payments, and agreements are made directly and exclusively between users.

Access to features beyond public browsing (posting listings, sending applications) requires verification of your status as a current or recently completed EU institution or NATO trainee in Brussels. This includes Blue Book trainees (European Commission), European Parliament trainees, Council of the EU interns, EEAS trainees, and NATO Brussels trainees.

By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide during verification is accurate and genuine. Providing false credentials is grounds for immediate account termination.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@bubblestays.eu if you suspect any unauthorised access.

Community verification codes shared via official trainee WhatsApp groups are for eligible trainees only. Sharing these codes with non-trainees violates these Terms and may result in account suspension.

Users who post listings warrant that: (a) they have the right to sublet or transfer the lease for the advertised property; (b) all information in the listing — including price, dates, location, and photos — is accurate and not misleading; and (c) the listing does not violate any applicable law or their own rental contract.

BubbleStays.eu reserves the right to remove any listing or content that is inaccurate, offensive, or in breach of these Terms, without prior notice.

BubbleStays.eu does not verify the condition of properties, the accuracy of individual listing details, or the conduct of users beyond the initial trainee status check. We do not guarantee the successful completion of any rental arrangement, and we are not responsible for disputes between users, non-payment of rent or deposits, property damage, or any other outcome arising from user interactions.

All users interact at their own risk. We strongly encourage users to conduct their own due diligence before entering into any agreement.

The Priority Boost is an optional €5 feature that pins an application to the top of a host's inbox as a commitment signal. It is non-refundable in all circumstances, including if the application is declined, the listing is removed, or the user changes their mind. Purchasing a Priority Boost does not create any entitlement to the listing or guarantee acceptance by the host.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. BubbleStays.eu does not store card details.

The BubbleStays.eu name, logo, and platform design are the property of BubbleStays.eu. Users retain ownership of the content they submit (listing text, photos) but grant BubbleStays.eu a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BubbleStays.eu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of deposit, failure to secure housing, or disputes with other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium and, where applicable, European Union law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made.
